The towers are the immediate future of residential luxury, a new design trend that we find in the Spanish territory with three clear examples.

We cannot be deceived, 2021 is not a point and apart from 2020. Rather, it is its continuation. So the activities started in the past and disastrous 2020 will continue in the present and long-awaited 2021. This, of course, is not necessarily negative. Many of the actions that have been initiated are positive, indeed very beneficial. If we look at architecture, the continuation and consolidation of three stupendous residential towers in the country are magnificent news.

«For sample, three buttons« from different places of the Spanish geography. We begin with the capital, where work has already begun on two beautiful towers encompassed in a project called Skyline Towers. As you can tell from the name, these constructions aspire to become a powerful influence on the city’s skyline, and it looks like it will.

The new twin towers of Madrid
Touza Arquitectos has been the company responsible for the design. This Madrid-based studio has created a first-class urban landmark: two almost twin towers rise up in the Tetuán neighborhood, facing the mighty Cinco Torres, enjoying the proximity of large expanses of natural spaces. Almost 100 meters high, each tower is provided with generous balconies, with spectacular views of Madrid, where the 600 apartments with one, two and three bedrooms will delight their future owners.

The complex’s logo advances its design. The horizontal stripes can be seen from miles away thanks to their elegant contrast: glass, composites, elements made up of two or more components that act in synergy, providing many properties, such as durability, malleability and resistance; and white concrete fronts.
But since design is not everything, residents will enjoy a pool on the first floor, surrounded by gardens, and another at 80 meters above sea level, with luxurious views and an attached Chill Out. The cost of the homes ranges between 295,000 and 675,000 euros, although the penthouses, still off the market, promise to raise prices a little more.

The luxurious residential tower in Barcelona
The second button is found in the other capital of the kingdom: Barcelona. The Catalans are soon going to enjoy an intense coastal design: the Antares tower. This is located in front of the Natural Science Museum of Barcelona, a strategic position that results in greater comfort for its future owners. The design is established based on horizontal stripes that visualize the 28 floors in which the tower is distributed.

The designer Odile Decq has created this new residential tower based on the renovation of an obsolete building. Its 28 floors redraw the Barcelona skyline, located at number 1 Plaça Llevant. Like a good luxury residence, it has an indoor pool, a wellness center, a gym, a multimedia room, a Sky Terrace, a restaurant and, of course, a rooftop pool. In total, 89 apartments with one to four bedrooms, including duplexes and penthouses, and not counting a spectacular penthouse with 360-degree views worth nine million euros.

Eighty-nine apartments and a nine million euro penthouse
White balconies surround the entire perimeter of the building in a curved, sensual way, and accentuated with the reddish tones of some balconies on top and the large lobby open to the outside. Each house has spectacular floor-to-ceiling glass carpentry, terraces of different sizes, state-of-the-art home automation, bamboo wood floors, and open spaces inside. As details of committed luxury, rooms to practice yoga in the shape of a cocoon, and the vertical gardens on the ground floor, where the three-story lobby.

Urban Sky, the new residential complex in Malaga
Now we travel to the cultural capital of southern Spain: Malaga. This city has become in its own right a spectacular space of art and history. The most daring residential complex in Andalusia is being built there: Urban Sky. The development will mean a substantial change in the silhouette of the Malaga capital. They are located in front of the Guadalmedina River, and their two 30-storey towers will house 450 apartments.

The architects, Morph Estudio tell us that their project arises from a detailed study of the best possible home and hotel, avoiding dark rooms or difficult distributions. From this study are born the two towers in the form of a Y, the south, and T, the north, opening their views to the maximum. Inside we find homes with between one and four bedrooms, designed to accommodate the upper middle class of the city.

The towers will have a swimming pool, chill out area, 300 homes and a hotel
The south tower will have 252 private residential spaces, while the north will have 198 rental homes and a 12-storey hotel. The complex promises to have the highest energy rating, through the BREEAM sustainability certification. In addition, it will provide 20,000 square meters of green areas, pedestrian and bicycle spaces, 500 car parks, movie theaters, gyms, shopping areas, co-working rooms and, of course, swimming pools and Chill Out’s on the roofs of buildings.

They will have as a novelty their own app to manage the residential complex, in addition to a strong commitment to the technological branch. The building is structured in white stripes and generous balconies, and prices range between 127,000 and 490,000 euros. The new residential towers are directly related to the canons of comfort and resort to the claims that we like the most: community entertainment areas.
